Jeff Choudhry is a Director of Legislative Affairs at The Nickles Group, LLC, offering strategic and policy advice to clients on a wide range of issues including intellectual property, media, and entertainment. Working on policy initiatives through the 109th to 111th Congress for Congressman Trent Franks, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, Jeff provides a strong legislative background with experience in House procedure.

Jeff began his Capitol Hill career at the House Committee on Small Business, then worked his way up in Franks' office serving as a staff assistant and legislative assistant before being named legislative director, a position he held for almost four years. He also served as Franks’ liaison to the Commercial and Administrative Law Subcommittee on Judiciary. Prior to heading Franks’ legislative team, Jeff was lead staff on issues relating to appropriations, energy, transportation, telecommunications, financial services, and trade.

An Illinois native, Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University and a master’s degree in business from The George Washington University.
