Jeff Choudhry is a Vice President at The Nickles Group, LLC, offering strategic and policy advice to clients on a wide range of issues including intellectual property, banking, and telecommunications. Jeff provides a strong legislative background with substantial experience in House procedure.
At The Nickles Group, Jeff worked closely with the broad retail coalition that fought unfair credit and debit card swipe fees, ultimately securing favorable Congressional action. He has also been an essential part of The Nickles Group's patent reform team, working on behalf of U.S. businesses and creators to navigate the first substantial update to U.S. patent law since the 1950s.
Jeff began his Capitol Hill career at the House Committee on Small Business, then worked his way up in Congressman Trent Franks' office serving as a staff assistant and legislative assistant before being named legislative director, a position he held for almost four years. He also served as Franks' liaison to the Commercial and Administrative Law Subcommittee on Judiciary. Prior to heading Franks' legislative team, Jeff was lead staff on issues relating to appropriations, energy, transportation, telecommunications, financial services, and trade.
An Illinois native, Jeff holds a bachelor's degree from Marquette University and a master's degree in business from The George Washington University.
