Rachel Jones Hensler is a Vice President at The Nickles Group, LLC, specializing in tax and other public policy issues. She combines more than a decade of Hill experience with over ten years representing businesses and coalitions in Washington.

Rachel is considered one of Washington's foremost tax policy experts and offers clients a strong knowledge of health, pension, and other key policy issues.

During her tenure on Capitol Hill, Rachel was involved in major tax legislation including the Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003 and the American Jobs Creation Act of 2004. As Director of Tax Policy for the Senate Budget Committee, she worked closely with Senate Finance and House Ways & Means Committee members and staff, congressional leadership and the administration on myriad issues. Rachel also worked for Senators Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) and Dave Durenberger (R-Minn.), and spent seven years in DC law firms doing legislative work on behalf of clients.

Rachel holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia.
