Hazen Marshall is a founding Partner of The Nickles Group, LLC, combining more than 20 years of experience with expertise on a wide range of issues including taxes, budget, energy, environment, and health care.

Hazen is considered one of Washington's top tax and budget policy experts and is an authority on the federal budget process and U.S. Senate procedure. Prior to starting the firm with his partners, Hazen was intimately involved in most major budget, tax, and economic policy legislation enacted during the last 12 congressional sessions.

He has served as majority Staff Director for the Senate Budget Committee, Staff Director and Deputy Staff Director in the Office of the Assistant Republican Leader, and was Senator Don Nickles’ lead staff for the Finance and Budget Committees.

An Oklahoma native, Hazen holds a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University.
